Mission

We are a family of God, diverse people, united in Christ, searching, growing, giving.  As Christ's followers, we believe we grow toward spiritual wholeness through dynamic worship, prayer and study of God's word, fellowship, and involvement in justice and mercy.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to meet the needs of our own church body and to be reconcilers for people of all faiths, colors and ages in the Willmar community and beyond.

Who We Are

Since 1870 First Presbyterian Church has been active in downtown Willmar, reaching out in ministry to the larger community. With almost four hundred members, we have active children and youth programs, and a variety of adult Bible studies and small groups. We seek to build a thoughtful faith that is combined with a heart for the needs of others, as we grow in God’s love through Jesus Christ. We come from a wide variety of church backgrounds, and welcome all in the name and love of Christ!
